Terrain, cadastre, orthophotos and planning maps arrive in your Revit project correctly positioned and with just a few clicks. The data is loaded directly from official geodata services. No more manual downloading, converting and fitting.

Geo Catalog
The Geo Catalog is the heart of the module. In an interactive map you choose country, provider and topic. Then you define the area:
- drag it on the map,
- enter dimensions from the base point,
- pick it directly in the Revit model
- or take it from an existing element.
One click on “Insert data” creates the result in the project. Depending on the topic, this is a toposolid, detail lines and annotations, filled regions or an image in the view. Optionally, the image can also be created as a material for renderings.
Available data:
- South Tyrol:
- digital terrain model (0.5 m and 2.5 m)
- cadastre with parcel boundaries, parcel numbers and cadastral brackets
- orthophotos from more than 30 flights from 1982 to 2024
- zoning plans
- landscape plan and hazard zone plans
- ski slope plan
- architectural and art monuments
- buildings as 3D volumes (height derived from surface and terrain models)
- Tyrol:
- orthophoto
- Bavaria:
- orthophoto (DOP20)
- terrain model (DGM1)
- buildings as LoD2 CityGML
- Baden-Württemberg:
- orthophoto
- terrain model (1 m and 0.25 m)
- buildings as LoD2 CityGML
The project position (coordinate system and X, Y, Z of the survey point) can be viewed and changed directly in the window. The terrain elevation can be queried from the elevation service at the push of a button.
Smooth Contours
This command replaces the angular contour lines of toposolids in plan views with smoothly rounded lines, giving you a professional-looking site plan.
- Areas under buildings, floors and walls are automatically left out.
- Major and minor contours get their own line styles.
- Running the command again updates the lines after a terrain change.
Map Importer
The Map Importer inserts your own georeferenced raster images into a Revit view in the correct position. Supported formats:
- JPG, PNG and TIF with world file (.jgw, .pgw, .tfw and more)
- GeoTIFF with embedded georeference
You can select a single file or scan an entire folder. Before inserting, a preview shows resolution, extent and rotation. Alignment to project north is automatic.
Read GeoTIFF/TXT/CSV
Read GeoTIFF
This command turns a digital terrain model in GeoTIFF format into a Revit toposolid. First it shows all key data of the file:
- bands, value range and NoData value
- pixel size
- coordinate system (EPSG)
- extent
Level and toposolid type can be freely selected.
Read TXT/CSV
This command creates terrain from survey or point data in TXT, CSV, XYZ and ASC format.
- Columns, delimiter and header row are freely configurable. Decimal commas are recognised correctly.
- For large point clouds, sampling reduces the number of points.
- “Check position” displays the extent in advance as a box in the model.
- Finally, the toposolid is inserted.
